Lechner Hall

Lechner Hall is a coed residence hall located on the north side of campus. It was built in 1989 and houses 200 students in double rooms. The hall features a living-learning community for students in the university’s honors program.

Walter W. Lechner, class of 1912, was one of the principal discoverers of the north portion of the giant East Texas oil field during the 1920’s.
