Platt

J.E. Platt served as head coach in 1904.

It was the first season the team played at Kyle Field. Edwin Jackson Kyle — 1899 alum and horticulture professor — purchased a grandstand and a plot of land. The capacity was 500. The team returned Edmund Foster and Gus Street to help form a roster of 25 people. The Aggies stormed out to a 3-0 start — shutting out all three opponents. Sewanee defeated the Aggies in College Station. In the annual game against Texas, the Aggies were walloped, 34-6 (temperance crusader Carrie Nation spoke out against alcohol at halftime). Lineman William Walker and company helped A&M close out its season on a positive note, a 10-0 win over Baylor. The team finished 4-2.
