Basketball tonight: Texas A&M men's basketball coach Buzz Williams says the problem that has plagued the team is a lack of endurance. The team plays tonight at Mississippi State.

Basketball honors: Texas A&M senior guard Aaliyah Wilson was named the Southeastern Conference women’s basketball co-player of the week Tuesday.

Breast cancer awareness: The men’s and women’s basketball teams will each host a Beat The Hell Outta Breast Cancer Game at Reed Arena this season. The men’s will be against LSU on Jan. 26, the women’s will be Feb. 18 against Missouri.

Tennis victories: Texas A&M’s Tatiana Makarova won a singles championship and she and teammate Jayci Goldsmith won a doubles title at the TCU Winter Invitational on Tuesday.

QB transfer: Texas A&M junior Connor Blumrick, who saw limited action at quarterback and wide receiver with the Aggies, will play at Virginia Tech.

The Texas A&M women’s basketball team was named the espnW team of the week after a pair of top 15 victories over Kentucky (77-60) and Arkansas (74-73) last week. It was A&M’s first time to beat top 15 teams in back-to-back games since beating No. 2 Stanford and No. 9 Notre Dame to win the 2011 national championship. A&M beat No. 3 Baylor to reach the Final Four that year.
