Aggie baseball team travels to Arlington for final nonconference matchup

The Texas A&M baseball team will wrap up its nonconference slate against UT-Arlington at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Globe Life Field. The game won’t be streamed live, but will be broadcast on KZNE (1150 FM, 93.7 FM).

The Aggies (24-22, 5-16 SEC) were swept by No. 5 Mississippi State in a three-game series last weekend. UT-Arlington is 22-22, including 10-5 in the Sun Belt Conference.

Texas A&M senior first baseman Will Frizzell was named a second-team All-American by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Wednesday. Frizzell batted .343 with 19 home runs and 50 runs batted in. He added 13 doubles and drew 39 walks with a .451 on-base percentage. Frizzell also earned All-Central Region first-team recognition from the American Baseball Coaches Association on Wednesday.
